The adventure kicks off in the morning with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Puerto Madryn.
Our journey will take us to El Desempeño, the entry checkpoint for Península Valdés. Here, we will pay the reserve fee.
Continuing onward, we will stop at the Carlos Ameghino Isthmus, known as the "Gateway" to Península Valdés. At this location, we'll visit the Interpretation Center, where you'll gain valuable insights and have the chance to view a whale skeleton.
From its viewpoint, you can simultaneously admire both gulfs, the unique geographical features of the peninsula, and the stunning Isla de los Pájaros.
Throughout the excursion, a professional guide will accompany us, sharing essential information and insights, allowing us to experience a day with native wildlife up close while ensuring their habitat remains protected.
The guide will determine whether the observation will take place at Punta Norte or Caleta Valdés. Although Orcas can be seen in the Valdés Peninsula year-round, optimal viewing conditions include high tide and minimal wind.
