Descripción del Tour
Peninsula Valdés, recognized as a World Heritage Site, is home to various unique species that thrive in this exceptional habitat. Join us for a full-day excursion led by experienced naturalist and bilingual guides.
Our adventure begins at the Carlos Ameghino Isthmus Interpretation Centre, where you'll gain insights into the Peninsula’s wildlife, plant life, and geology. We will also visit a panoramic viewpoint to admire the stunning vistas of New Gulf, San José, and Birds Island.
Next, we head to Puerto Pirámides, where, depending on the season, you can opt for whale watching or enjoy a boat ride with optional snorkeling.
The journey continues as we explore Caleta Valdés, Punta Cantor, and Punta Norte, where you’ll have the opportunity to observe elephant seals, penguins, and sea lions. The order of these visits may vary based on seasonal conditions, weather, or tides.
For those interested in land-based orca watching, Punta Norte offers the best opportunity, especially in March and April. Alternatively, sightings are possible in Caleta Valdés during September, albeit less frequently.
We will return to the city at approximately 18:30/19:00 hrs.
